Glossary of Terms
Buy Day
This is the actual day that a stock was available to buy. This will be either on the Pred Buy Date or on the next trading day. This is used with the historical stock predictions to show what day that the stock could have been purchased.
Close
The Close is the stocks closing price on the listed day. This is the price of the stock at the last trade of the day. This does not reflect the HIGH or LOW trading price of that stock.
Close Day
This is the suggested sell date of the stock. This is the day that you should attempt to sell the stock on. The PSPick system is built around thirty day intervals so the close day will almost always be 30 days after the purchase date. Often times you can get greater gains on your stock sale by selling earlier than the close day. On occassion this suggested day is a NON trading day. In that case then you should attempt to sell the stock on the next available trading day.
Confidence Rating
The Confidence Ratings that are displayed on Pro Stock Pick and Stock Assassin are our own INDEPENDENT system of rating the quality of a stock.
The Confidence Rating varies from A (BEST) to I (WORST).
The rating is NOT a guarantee that a stock will increase but it is a good indicator. For novice investors it is recommended that you do not invest in stocks that are rated as C or worse. These stocks have a poor Confidence Rating in our system and should be closely examined before making any trades.
Basically stocks with a higher Confidence Rating are more likely to achieve the results that we are predicting. You will see that that many of our D and C stocks also achieve outstanding gains but the RISK is much greater.
All stock investing carries risk and higher rated stocks are NEVER guaranteed to increase in value. There is RISK in all stock investing and no predictions are guaranteed.
Future Predictions
The Future Predictions tool is the most important part of the Pro Stock Pick software system. This tool will show you the software's predictions for upcoming stocks. You can vary the Confidence Rating to filter the results. This tool gives you the Pred Buy Date as well as the predicted sell date. Before investing in any stock you should research the stock so that you may make an educated investment decision.
Stock investing is a RISK and Pro Stock Pick cannot guarantee any stock will raise or lower in value. It is your obligation as an investor to make your own informed trade decisions.
Gain
This is the percentage gain between the actual BUY DAY and the actual CLOSE DAY of the particular stock. This is not the peak gain in the time period. Often times you can achieve gains higher than listed on this website by selling earlier than our suggested end day. Our gain is the gain that you would receive if you bought on our buy day and sold on our close day.
Historical Stock Picks
The Historical Stock Picks and Predictions will display the RESULTS of the predictions created by PSPick. This tool allows you to see how well our predictions have fared. You can select any range of time for PAST results and vary the Confidence Rating,
Predicted Buy Date
The Predicted Buy Day is the suggested purchase date of the stock. This is the day that you should attempt to purchase the stock on. On occassion this suggested day is a NON trading day. In that case then you should attempt to purchase the stock on the next available trading day.
